Mallorca 312 and IRONMAN 70.3 Alcúdia 2027: Group Transfers with Your Bikes
Two of Mallorca’s biggest endurance events take place in the north of the island two weeks apart in spring 2027: the Mallorca 312 sportive and IRONMAN 70.3 Alcúdia-Mallorca. All 8,500 places for the 312 sold out within minutes, and around those dates the hotels in Playa de Muro, Alcúdia and Port de Pollença fill with riders and triathletes travelling with their bikes. If you are coming as a club, team or group of friends, this guide explains how to organise your transfers, from the airport to race day.

Many groups arrive several days early to train and get used to the roads, so transfers are needed well before race day.
From Palma Airport to the north with your bikes
Playa de Muro, Alcúdia and Port de Pollença are about 60 km from Palma Airport (PMI), 45 to 60 minutes by motorway. With Virgui Bus your group travels in a private minibus and the bikes go in a trailer, in their boxes or travel bags, at no extra cost. The price is fixed for the whole group, not per person or per bike:

For a group of 8 going to Playa de Muro, that is €20 per person with the bikes included. Nothing is paid online: you pay the driver on the day. Other destinations and prices are on the all destinations page.
Race week: training rides and rest days
During the days before the race, the same minibus can take you wherever you need to go:
- To the start of a training ride elsewhere on the island, with a pick-up at the end: the Serra de Tramuntana, Sa Calobra or Formentor without riding there and back
- To bike shops, sports centres or the physio, and back to the hotel
- Rest days with a private excursion or the minibus with driver by the hour

Race day
If your hotel is not at the start, we take you and your bikes there and pick you up at the finish at the time we agree. On race day several roads in the north are closed for hours, so plan this transfer with us in advance: we will agree the pick-up time and point with you so you arrive in good time.
5 tips for clubs and teams
- Book early. Arrival days for both events are among the busiest of the spring in the north.
- Count bikes and boxes. Tell us how many bikes you are bringing and how they are packed, so we bring the right trailer.
- Different flights? If your group arrives on several flights, send us the flight numbers and we will plan the pick-ups.
- Book the return too. After the race nobody wants to think about transport: book the transfer back to the airport at the same time.
- More than 20 people? Our minibuses carry up to 22; for larger groups we prepare a proposal with several vehicles.

Can you carry our bikes in their boxes or travel bags?
Yes. The bikes travel in a trailer, in their box or travel bag, at no extra cost. Tell us how many there are when you book or ask for a quote.
Is the price per person or per bike?
Neither. It is a fixed price for the whole group, based on how many of you there are, with bikes and kit included.
Can you take us to the start and pick us up at the finish?
Yes. On race day we take you and your bikes to the start and pick you up at the finish at the time we agree. As roads are closed during the event, it is best to arrange it in advance.
Our group arrives on different flights. Is that a problem?
No. Send us all the flight numbers and arrival times and we will plan the pick-ups for your group.
How do we pay?
Nothing is paid when you book online: you pay the driver on the day of the service, the amount shown in your confirmation.
